SPIRITUAL DEPRESSION (& HOW TO COME OUT OF IT)

dark night of the soul spiritual awakening spiritual depression Aug 06, 2022

Spiritual depression is confusing…

It can make you believe you’re stuck.

It pinches you off from your intuition.

It’s a "heavy energy" that weighs you down like a cold wet blanket.

It’s like a dull but constant negative pressure... that seems to be coming at you from all angles of your life.

Your job situation, living situation, health, relationships, everything.

Spiritual depression is ALL of that unpleasantness,

combined

with an insatiable yearning for MORE!

More purpose

More happiness

More depth

More freedom

So you can see why it's so depressing!

But my friend that is the whole point.

Spiritual depression is life's way of letting you know that you're better than this.

Spiritual depression is your higher self saying you're not living up to your potential.

You're holding on to something that doesn't belong in your life.

And that thing, whatever it is

is the cause of all this!

It's why you can't see the next step or feel the support of the universe.

You have to let go first.

Spiritual depression is a consequence of bypassing what you know to be true.

and that is why it's such a blessing.

Most people have grown accustomed to their purposeless, inauthentic, joyless lives.

Spiritual depression won't let you do that.

It will make life suck so bad that you are willing to try anything, willing to take risks.

and that's what it takes.

There are no guarantees, no sure things, no way to know "for sure" if it's going to work out.

But that's the adventure!

That's why this path is so full of growth, excitement, and passion!

Spiritual depression CAN be a catalyst...

It can be the best thing that ever happened to you.

It can be the experience that caused you to make new choices in your life.

What's it gonna be?
